Dr. Reza Assasi joins the University of Hartford as an Assistant Professor of Architecture. He holds a PhD in Architectural History and Theory from McGill University and is a licensed architect in Ontario, Canada. He brings more than two decades of experience in architectural practice and teaching, including teaching at Toronto Metropolitan University. His expertise spans architectural history, theory, design, practice, and architectural technology. His work connects historical and theoretical inquiry with design education and contemporary architectural practice. He looks forward to contributing to UHart’s undergraduate and graduate architecture programs and collaborating with its students and faculty.
