Teaching Focus
Dr. Austin teaches orthopedic pathophysiology and in the musculoskeletal evaluation and interventions courses.
Dr. Austin has practiced physical therapy in outpatient orthopedic settings for over 20 years as a staff physical therapist, manager, and private clinic owner. His goal to provide others the opportunity to succeed and believes developing critical-thinking clinicians who utilize an evidence-based approach to physical therapy care.
Professional Interests Focus
Dr. Austin’s interest areas include evidence-based medicine, physical therapy education, musculoskeletal injury in the marching arts, and the role of manual therapy in musculoskeletal care.
