The focus of scientific inquiry is prosthetic socket cooling and thermal properties of liner interfaces.

Professional Interests: Felmlee treats patients around Connecticut and western Massachusetts through Hanger Clinic with a particular focus on stance control KAFO’s and pediatric orthotics. He is assisting the educational department of Hanger Clinic with preparatory exams for both orthotics and prosthetics. Working alongside faculty members Sandra Saavedra and Adam Goodworth, Felmlee is involved in research endeavors in the University's pediatric balance lab. Raising awareness in international orthotic treatment protocol is of particular interest to Felmlee, who will be working on coordinating opportunities locally and abroad for students and clinicians to help a large underserved population.
