Kristin Landis-Piwowar, PhD, is an educator, researcher, and academic leader with expertise in the health sciences. As dean of the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions, she is dedicated to supporting students, collaborating with faculty, and preparing graduates for meaningful careers in education and health care. Her research focuses on cancer therapeutics, disease prevention, and the mechanisms of disease. She earned a bachelor's degree from Ferris State University, a master's degree from Michigan State University, and a doctoral degree in cancer biology from the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
