Teaching Focus: Associate Professor Claudia Oakes teaches a wide range of health science courses, including Introduction to Gerontology and Dementia and Aging. She focuses on dispelling myths and stereotypes associated with aging and embracing the opportunities that are available to students due to the world's aging population.
