Pianist Yujin Lee is a dedicated collaborative pianist and educator with extensive ensemble experience. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano from Seoul National University, followed by a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) and an Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from The Hartt School.
From 2017 to 2026, she served as a Staff Pianist at The Hartt School, successfully supporting numerous student and faculty recitals and masterclasses. She has also served as a designated audition pianist at the Manhattan School of Music since 2024 and was invited as a Staff Pianist for the Atlantic Music Festival, where she collaborated with world-renowned musicians.
Currently, Dr. Lee serves as a Piano Instructor at Cheshire Academy and a Chamber Music Coach at The Hartt School. In addition to her teaching engagements, she is a founding member of the Ecor Quartet and performs as a pianist for the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Recognized for her profound musical interpretation and steadfast artistry, she maintains an active and vibrant career across both chamber music and orchestral stages.
I am an experienced teacher, focused on guiding students as they develop their musical and technical abilities and as they engage in the journey of finding themselves as artists. It is my greatest joy that every student, regardless of where they are in their studies, can experience not only musical growth through lessons, but personal growth. By providing strong foundational technique, informed artistic guidance, and a clearly articulated practice routine I am able to lead a student on a sure path to success.
