Meredith Neumann is the Director of the Connecticut Children's Chorus (CCC), where she conducts the Concert Choir and Women’s Choir. Her ensembles are known for their innovative approach to performance and their intense passion for music-making. In 2015, Concert Choir was selected as the “Together in Song” Youth Choir for the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Eastern Division Conference. Neumann is a sought-after presenter and conductor at choral conferences and festivals. A Connecticut native, Neumann herself is a proud alumnus of the CCC. She holds a Master's degree in Music Education from The Hartt School, where she studied choral conducting.

Neumann has ten years of experience teaching middle school choirs throughout Connecticut, both in public and private schools. She is Choirmaster of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Hartford, conducting the Schola Cantorum and the Cathedral Youth Chorus. In addition to her teaching and conducting appointments, she is an active performer in the Greater Hartford region. She is a founding member of the early music vocal ensemble Voce CONCITATO, specializing in the music of the late Renaissance and early Baroque periods. Voce Concitato has presented for ACDA and performed throughout the northeast. Neumann is also a member of Voce, Connecticut’s premier professional choral ensemble.
