Mike has more than fifty years experience practicing the craft he loves. Most of it as executive creative director and managing partner at Keiler & Company, a CADC hall of fame marketing communications firm. At Keiler, Mike worked on many graphic arts accounts including Strathmore paper, Crane Paper, Champion Paper, Graphis Magazine, Lettraset, Pantone, Heidelberg and Allied Printing. These projects allowed him the opportunity to meet and work with design legends like Paul Rand, Saul Bass, Takenobu Igarashi, April Grieman, Brad Holland, Cumming & Good and many more. The Keiler creative team created national advertising campaigns for PUMA, The Stanley Works, Lockheed Martin, Deloitte, Sikorsky, NYU, Sikorsky and many more. The team’s other projects included annual reports, corporate identity, brand building, digital and social media as well as television commercials. His team’s work has been honored in the Graphis Design Annuals, CA Magazine, Print Magazine and Archive Magazine. He created the Graphis Strathmore touring letterhead exhibit. Awards included the CLIO, Boston Hatch bowl, NY Art Directors Club golds and silvers for B2B advertising, London International Best art direction, AIGA BONE competitions, and NE Adweek designer of the year. Mike is a past president of The Connecticut Art Directors Club and founding president of AIGA CT. In 2010 he was named an AIGA CT Fellow, one of only three Connecticut designers ever so honored.
