Winter Storm Advisory

Due to an impactful winter storm expected throughout the region, the University of Hartford will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 25, and Monday, Jan. 26. This includes Harrison Libraries.

In-person Hartt School auditions that were scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, have been rescheduled.

The Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, is canceled. The exhibition at Silpe Gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Lucrecia (Luke-re-sia) Acosta Larrama is a dedicated professional with a strong academic background. As a first-generation college graduate, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Law & Society, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Anna Maria College.

Previously, Lucrecia served as a Resident Assistant (RA) at Anna Maria College and as a Transitions and Summer Housing Operations Assistant at Boston College, where she developed valuable skills in housing operations, customer service, and team collaboration. Her experiences have honed her ability to manage complex tasks, communicate effectively with students, and contribute to creating welcoming and inclusive environments.

Originally from Leominster, MA, and born in Uruguay, Lucrecia brings a global perspective to her work and a passion for learning. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, watching and playing soccer, and exploring new locations. With the goal of visiting all 50 states before turning 50, Lucrecia is always open to new travel suggestions and loves discovering unique destinations.
