Saskia joined The Women’s Advancement Initiative team in June 2025. She also served as a temporary office coordinator for the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford. Prior to joining the University, she was an administrative assistant at New Britain High School and operations associate at Libertas Academy Charter School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and philosophy with a minor in Africana Studies from Muhlenberg College.
When asked what energized her the most in her previous roles, she shares, “It made a difference when I showed up as my best self for the students. It showed them that they can be their best selves and it starts by showing up. I loved seeing their growth and how the small duties I performed can make a big impact.”
