Sam has been with the University of Hartford since January of 2025 as a First-Year Advisor & Student Success Coach for the Center for Student Success. In his current role, he advises 100+ First Year Students in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture. In both 1-1 advising meetings as well as facilitating sections of US 150: First Year Success Seminar, Sam works with all CETA Engineering programs.
Additionally, Sam is a member of the Compass Administrative Support Team (CAST). The focus of this team is the management of Compass, UHart’s case management platform used to provide student support through communication, collaboration, and predictive analysis. Sam’s role within this team includes campus partner integration, data collection, and faculty/staff training.
