Abby White is a CT-certified music educator, currently teaching choral and general music for grades k-4 at Regional 10 School District in Burlington, CT. She serves as the alto section leader and youth choir teacher for ages 7-17 at St. John's Episcopal Church in West Hartford, CT.
Abby earned her Bachelor of Music Education with a vocal emphasis from the Hartt School. She has begun her graduate studies in Music Education at Gordon College and studied First Steps in Music with Lillie Feierabend. She holds a First Steps in Music certification through the Feierabend Association for Music Education and is an associate member of (FAME), KESNE, and CTAOSA. Her professional choral work includes performances with Voce, CONCORA, Crescendo, Ad Hoc Bach at Wesleyan University.
Abby is dedicated to creating uplifting musical experiences for humans of all ages. She facilitates participatory singing sessions for seniors in memory care. She teaches Choral, Songwriting and Dance classes for elementary children. She teaches First Steps in Music for babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children with their parents or caretakers. Abby loves to create musical experiences that strengthen bonds and cultivate shared joy between caretakers and their children.
