UHart Bringing Virtual Experience to Prospective Students

March 23, 2020
The University of Hartford is bringing a unique virtual experience to prospective students. Special online opportunities are available for them to connect with our campus community. These virtual experiences are designed to allow future students to experience UHart and learn about all that our campus and community have to offer.
Through the online-based programs below, future Hawks can learn more about admissions via webinars, interact on social media, meet admission counselors, and even virtually tour campus.
  • Webinars: Accepted students can learn about Financial Aid and Admission (March 27) and Orientation and Next Steps (April 8) through webinar workshops. Staff will give short presentations followed by a Q&A session.
  • Instagram FAQ: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11 a.m. prospective Hawks can ask current students and alumni questions about campus life, housing, clubs, internships, study abroad, and more. Previous FAQ takeovers will be available to view on UHart’s profile.
  • Meet Bates House: Every Monday, future Hawks can meet admission and financial aid staff members on Instagram and Facebook. Through videos and fun questions, students can to get to know them personally and ask questions on UHart’s contact page.
  • Virtual Tours: Prospective students can take an interactive tour of campus with a virtual map. Additionally, our University team is working hard to customized tours so prospective students can experience laboratories and other buildings related to their academic interest.

These are just a few of the things we are doing to virtually connect students with the University of Hartford. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing other chances to connect, ask questions and learn. Online opportunities present an exciting way for future Hawks to explore all that the UHart experience has to offer.
