Nagurney Co-Authors Article in the Journal of Global Optimization

Ladimer S. Nagurney, Professor of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering in CETA is the co-author of the article, Global supply chain networks and tariff rate quotas: equilibrium analysis with application to agricultural productspublished in the Journal of Global Optimization.

The article develops a global supply chain network model in which profit-maximizing firms engage in competition in the production and distribution of products in the presence of tariff rate quotas. The article uses the growing and processing of avocados as a case study.

Nagurney's co-authors are Professor Anna Nagurney and Deniz Bezik of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
