CETA's David Jacobs Recognized by Civil Engineering Society

Please join the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA) in congratulating Adjunct Professor David Jacobs who received the Benjamin Wright Award from the Connecticut Society of Civil Engineers Section of American Society of Civil Engineers or ASCE earlier this summer.
According to the ASCE website, the award is given to a Connecticut civil engineer who has demonstrated outstanding practice throughout his or her career and made significant contributions to the civil engineering profession. Jacobs says he is honored to be this year’s recipient of the award and hopes this brings enhanced recognition and prestige to the University and CETA.
In April, UHart civil engineering majors Denise Prussen ‘19 and Debbie Vergara ‘19 received Outstanding Civil Engineering Student Awards from ASCE.
