Throughout the year, UHart commemorates national heritage months and identity acknowledgments. These recognitions are an opportunity for all members of the community to continue to learn more about the history, to share their cultural heritage and customs, to educate others about their traditions, and to engage in meaningful programming that recognizes, examines, and values the legacies of all identities. These are also important opportunities to promote inclusivity by fostering a sense of belonging among all members of our campus community and beyond.
