After 16 years at the University of Hartford, Craig Campbell has accepted a new position as manager of web communications at Wesleyan University. In his new role, he will lead Wesleyan through a new website redesign—just like he did for hartford.edu in 2018 and the initial web refresh in 2014.
Craig has been a valued member of the Office of Marketing and Communication and campus community since 2008. During his time at UHart, he led the implementation of our first content management system and contributed to a complete evolution of our web and digital work. More recently, he has dedicated significant time to gather, assess, and share important data with campus stakeholders, and has contributed greatly to campus technology decisions and information sharing as a member of the ITEC committee. Craig was recognized with an Outstanding Staff Award in 2010. He has been both a student and a parent at UHart, earning his MBA in 2017—forever a Hawk!
Craig stated when reflecting on his time that “UHart has been an unwavering support system throughout the years, holding an indelible place in my heart, a testament to a legacy shaped by shared successes and a profound sense of gratitude—I’m truly grateful!”
We wish Craig continued success as he embarks on this new endeavor. His final day with UHart will be Feb. 23.
