Exciting Transition to Blackboard Ultra

As we gear up for the transition to Blackboard Ultra in Spring 2025, we are thrilled to extend a special offer designed to enhance your digital teaching experience. To ensure a smooth and efficient migration, the Office of Academic Technology, Teaching, and Learning (ACTECH) is offering personalized 1:1 training sessions for faculty interested in converting their courses to Blackboard Ultra and learning its features. You can schedule either a virtual or face-to-face session with one of our team members.

These sessions are an opportunity for you to work closely with an instructional design expert to convert your courses for Blackboard Ultra, delve into its features, and explore strategies for effective digital course delivery.

Did you know? Our support extends beyond Blackboard Ultra. We also offer personal training for Microsoft Office Applications and Kaltura, empowering you to leverage these platforms for enhanced communication and content sharing within our academic community. Whether you aim to enrich your course with video content or streamline interactions with students, we're here to assist.

Please email actech@hartford.edu to schedule a session that fits your timetable, where we'll spend an hour focused entirely on your questions and how to maximize your use of these academic tools.  We have both daytime and evening availability and can meet with you either virtually or face-to-face.

We look forward to supporting your journey towards mastering Blackboard Ultra and beyond.
