Barney Takes Students to Boston for Corporate Visit Day

On Thursday, April 24, a group of Barney School students, faculty, staff, and alumni came together for the annual Corporate Visit Day. Twenty-four students, ranging from freshmen to graduate students, kicked off the day at Oracle, a leading software company based in Burlington, a suburb of Boston. There, they heard from different Oracle employees and toured the company’s campus.

In the afternoon, the group traveled into Boston for lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy, where they were joined by several Barney alumni. Amy E. Quigley ’93 delivered a keynote address, sharing her career journey and offering valuable advice on advancing one's career. Meanwhile, alumni Max Morgovsky ’19, Amanda Letasz ’18, and Romy Richman ’17, M’18 engaged with students during the meal, offering networking opportunities.

Following lunch, students enjoyed free time to explore the city, visiting iconic locations such as Boston Common, Beacon Hill, and Newbury Street.

The day was filled with valuable career insights and memorable experiences, leaving a lasting impact on the participating students. This outing is just another example of Barney’s Career Ready programming being built into everything they do.
