ENHP Faculty and Alum Featured on National Orthotics and Prosthetics Podcast

In the latest episode of O&P Rising, guest host Hannah Perkins ’25, resident prosthetist/orthotist at Macy O&P in Guilford, Conn., and recent graduate of UHart’s master of science in prosthetics and orthotics (MSPO) program, interviews Stephen Charry, CPO, FAAOP, assistant professor in the department of rehabilitation sciences.

Their conversation, “Building and Using a Diagnostic Toolbox in the O&P Profession,” explores essential tools such as patient history, physical assessments, and outcome measures, while highlighting why this toolbox should continually evolve. Charry and Perkins also discuss the value of mentorship, hands-on learning, and lifelong education, while addressing common challenges clinicians face.

This marks the third time UHart MSPO faculty have been featured on an Academy podcast.
