Mary Gannotti, professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, has been selected as a Merit Switzer Fellow by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This prestigious fellowship honors her exceptional contributions to rehabilitation research and supports her ongoing work investigating the factors that influence physical activity among children with special health care needs (CSHCN) and functional limitations.
The fellowship includes a $90,000 grant, which will fund Dr. Gannotti’s research team and project development. Her proposal, which outlines a comprehensive and impactful research plan, received high praise during the peer review process.
