The University of Hartford invites students, faculty, staff, and alumni to join us in celebrating the rich diversity and vibrant cultures of our region by participating in two upcoming community events:
Hartford Pride Fest
Date: Saturday, Sept. 13
Time: noon–6 p.m.
Location: Trumbull & Pratt Streets, Hartford, Conn.
Come celebrate love, inclusivity, and community at Hartford Pride Fest. The festival will feature live entertainment, local vendors, food, and family-friendly activities. UHart will be showing our pride. Come represent in your red and white or join us at our table!
Greater Hartford Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival
Date: Saturday, Sept. 21
Time: noon– 8 p.m.
Location: The parade will follow a route via Hartford’s main streets that will culminate at Bushnell Park with the Festival del Coquí, Hartford, Conn.
The Connecticut Institute for Community Development (CICD) Puerto Rican Parade, Inc., Hartford Chapter is proud to present the 2025 Annual Greater Hartford Puerto Rican Day Parade. This beloved tradition highlights the culture, history, and contributions of the Puerto Rican community. The celebration continues with the Festival del Coquí at Bushnell Park, featuring music, dance, food, and activities for all ages. We encourage the UHart community to participate, show support, and celebrate the diverse cultures that make Hartford such a vibrant place to live and learn.
