Please join us in congratulating Llonia Rojan Jackson, Director of Inclusive Excellence in the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Belonging, on being selected as a recipient of the Jumoke Academy Charter School Community Award at Jumoke Academy's 28th Anniversary Heritage Gala.
This distinguished honor recognizes individuals whose commitment, leadership, and service have strengthened scholars, empowered families, and elevated the broader community. Llonia's tireless work covers over a decade of being part of the UHart community. Her work in fostering belonging through programs such as STRIDE, advancing education and training through CCERT initiatives, and deepening community partnerships around culture and climate reflects exactly the spirit this award celebrates.
Llonia will be recognized at the Heritage Gala: Harlem Renaissance – A Dandy Affair, on Saturday, March 28 at The Society Room in Hartford.
