The Barney School of Business recently celebrated its graduating seniors during the annual Closing Bell event, a special tradition recognizing students as they prepare to take the next step in their professional journeys.
The event gave seniors the opportunity to commemorate their accomplishments alongside classmates, faculty, and staff. One of the highlights of the event was the ceremonial ringing of the bell, symbolizing the close of students’ time at Barney and the beginning of their careers beyond the university.
During the celebration, graduating seniors involved in Barney student organizations were also presented with graduation cords in recognition of their leadership, involvement, and dedication throughout their time on campus. The cords served as a meaningful symbol of the impact students made within the Barney community.
In addition, several high-performing students were recognized for their academic achievements and contributions with gift card awards presented throughout the event.
The Closing Bell event provided graduating seniors with a memorable opportunity to reflect on their experiences, celebrate their accomplishments, and look ahead to the future as members of the Barney alumni network.
