We are pleased to inform you that all your required course materials will be provided to you as part of UHart's new online course materials program, RedInk Unlimited.
As part of this program, all course materials are included in a flat fee of $670 per year for full-time students. This charge will appear on your first fall 2026 bill, scheduled for release during the first week of July. As a result, you won't need to purchase course materials separately—one less thing to worry about as you prepare to return to campus.
Program Benefits
- Allows faculty to begin teaching and students to begin learning on the first day.
- Required digital course materials are available in the student's Blackboard account by day one of class, eliminating the need to wait in line with heavy books.
- Reduced student stress related to finding and purchasing the correct course materials in time for the start of classes.
- Students have the flexibility to choose to stay in the program or easily opt out each term.
- Digital platforms offer key features such as highlighting, flash cards, and note sharing, leading to greater success in the course.
Flexibility of RedInk Unlimited
All students are automatically enrolled but can choose to remain in or opt out of the program. Opt-out details and instructions will be sent to you before the start of the semester, and students can begin opting out as early as Monday, July 27.

Students who do not wish to participate and take advantage of the program's savings and convenience can opt out each term without penalty. Students have until September 10, 2026, to opt out for the fall 2026 semester. As the term approaches, please look for emails with more information about the program and how to access your materials.
