Following our recent partnership announcement, Harrison Libraries and the AI Collective: Hartford Chapter are excited to open registration for our inaugural summer workshop, "AI Beyond the Prompt." Led by AI expert Nisreen Cain, this hands-on session will take place on Thursday, July 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the KF room at Mortensen Library.
Moving past basic chat commands, this workshop focuses on building intermediate AI skills and automations for academic research, professional writing, and project management. Using Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant) for live demonstrations, attendees will learn how to leverage AI tools to streamline workflows while keeping the human layer at the center of technological integration.
