CETA Announces Department Leadership Transitions for the New Academic Year

As the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture prepares for the new academic year, the college is recognizing several department leadership transitions while expressing appreciation for faculty members whose dedication has helped shape their programs.

CETA extends its gratitude to Saeid Moslehpour for his service as Department Chair and the many contributions he made to advancing the department. The College also welcomes Ying Yu as the new Department Chair and looks forward to the leadership and vision she will bring as she builds on the department's continued success.

The College also thanks Saleh Keshawarz for serving as Interim Chair during a period of transition. His leadership provided stability and continuity for the department. As this interim appointment concludes, CETA welcomes Clara Fang back as she resumes her role as Department Chair.

In addition, CETA recognizes Jim Fuller for his many years of distinguished service as Department Chair. His lasting impact on the department, its students, and the University will continue to be felt for years to come. As Jim begins a well-earned retirement, the College welcomes Mehdi Danesh as the department's new chair and looks forward to the next chapter under his leadership.

These leadership transitions reflect CETA's continued commitment to academic excellence and innovation. The College thanks Saeid, Saleh, and Jim for their outstanding service and warmly welcomes Ying, Clara, and Mehdi as they take on their leadership roles for the year ahead.
