All students and staff need to update there Amazon delivery times in their accounts. If you want your packages the same day as they arrive, please follow the steps below.
Amazon often delivers packages outside of our mailroom operating hours. This means your order may be left unattended outside of the mailroom or buildings. The mailroom is not responsible for items left unattended. To mitigate the loss and or theft of Amazon packages, we suggest you do the following:
Set Delivery Hours and Instructions
- From your Amazon account page, select “your addresses”
- Select your University of Hartford Address
- Select > “add delivery instructions”
- For the address type, select > “Business”
- Under “When is this address open for deliveries?” select > Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. and select > “closed for deliveries” for both Saturday and Sunday
- Under “Can this address receive deliveries on federal holidays?” select > NO
- For “Where should we leave your packages at this address?” select > “Mailroom or property staff”
- Save your changes to > "Package Tracking"
