Reimagine Scholarly Research with the Library's New Primo AI Assistant

We invite you to help shape the future of research at the University of Hartford by joining our fall pilot of the Primo AI Research Assistant. This new tool delivers natural‑language searching, rapid literature synthesis, and verified scholarly citations—all within the Primo environment you rely on for teaching and scholarship. Your participation will directly influence how AI‑enhanced discovery supports faculty research, student learning, and course design across disciplines.

Join us for a live faculty discussion on Tuesday, Oct. 13 from noon–1 p.m. in Mortensen Library (KF Room) to explore search accuracy, student research implications, and interface enhancements. If you can’t attend, you can still participate fully: run your own searches in the Primo AI sandbox and share your observations through the asynchronous faculty survey. Your hands‑on testing and feedback are essential as we evaluate this potential new library service.
