The Department of Public Safety will be conducting fire drills in selected residential and academic buildings on campus over the next week. Not all buildings will be included during this period; additional buildings will be scheduled at later dates.
If/when you hear a fire alarm...
- Leave the building immediately in a calm and orderly manner using the nearest safe exit;
- Do not use the elevators
- Move at least 50 feet away from the building and keep exits clear
- Follow directions from Public Safety and/or Fire Department Personnel
- Do not re-enter the building until the "all clear" is given by officials on scene
Please treat every alarm as an emergency.
