2026–27 Garmany Concert Series

The 2026–27 Richard P. Garmany Concert Series has been announced, with an exciting lineup of world-class artists. Held at The Hartt School, the series is celebrating its 18th season! 

Performances:

Oct. 15: The series will welcome Natalie Tenenbaum, with her performance, The Piano // Reimagined. Tenenbaum is one of the country’s most electrifying keyboard artists, will perform in a wide-ranging program of classical and contemporary works.

Nov. 19: The second fall performance will feature Reverón Piano Trio in The Art of the Trio. The concert will feature by Fanny Mendelssohn and a Reverón-commissioned work by Grammy-nominated composer Miguel del Águila performed by the internationally-acclaimed trio. 

Jan. 21: The series will welcome Pacifica Quartet, who will feature music by Barber, Dvořák and Gabriela Lena Frank, with the performance held in Lincoln Theater. The multiple Grammy award-winning Pacifica Quartet showcases master works including Dvořák’s beloved String Quartet No. 12 in F Major, op. 96, “American.”

April 1: The final concert of the season’s series will feature Solomiya Ivakhiv & Friends in Ukraine: A Musical Journey. Ukrainian-born violinist Solomiya Ivakhiv offers a program celebrating the heritage, resilience, and vibrant musical tradition of Ukraine.


All performances are set for 7:30 p.m. and held in Millard Auditorium, with the exception of the Pacifica Quartet performance on Jan. 21, which will be held in Lincoln Theater.

Tickets for each concert are $25 for the general public. Admission is free for University of Hartford students, faculty, and staff.
