Manufacturing and Metrology Open House

The University of Hartford’s College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture will host an Open House and Manufacturing Day at its Center for Manufacturing & Metrology. The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Dana Hall 102/104.

The event will showcase the Center’s work in dimensional assessment, geometry conformance, and surface characterization, while highlighting the university’s hands-on approach to manufacturing education. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn about the Center’s immersive learning opportunities, professional programs, and modern metrology equipment.

The university is celebrating Connecticut’s contribution to the global competitiveness of manufacturing through this open-house event. Special guest Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz is scheduled to address attendees at 1 p.m. The day will also provide opportunities for innovation, networking, and industry engagement.
