Are you interested in research, graduate school, or simply looking for an opportunity to challenge yourself and gain valuable experience? UHart is excited to be participating as an institutional partner in the UR2PhD Program (Undergraduate Research to PhD Mentoring) this fall.
UR2PhD is a virtual undergraduate research and mentoring program that gives you the opportunity to experience what research is really like. You will work on a research project, learn from faculty and graduate mentors, and develop skills that can benefit you whether you plan to pursue a PhD, graduate degree, or a career in industry.
What will you gain?
Through the program, you will:
- Work on a real research project
- Learn how to read and understand research papers
- Develop your research, communication, and presentation skills
- Work with faculty and graduate student mentors
- Explore what it means to pursue graduate school and a PhD
- Gain experience that you can highlight on your resume and future applications
No prior research experience is required!
You do not need to have previous research experience. If you are curious, motivated, and willing to learn, this is a great opportunity to get started.
Who can apply?
Current undergraduate students at the University of Hartford who are interested in research, graduate school, computing, or developing advanced technical skills.
Ready to give research a try?
You don't need to know exactly what you want to do after graduation. This program is an opportunity to explore, learn, build your skills, and discover new possibilities for your future.
