Launch into course design excellence with the Mission: Accessible Challenge! Beginning Monday, Sept. 28, join our 6-week gamified campus challenge to transform your digital course content while building essential compliance skills.

Each week targets a key area of accessibility—from alt text and document structure to multimedia captions and complex PDFs. Earn badges to share on social media or include in your promotion & tenure portfolio, gain weekly recognition, and compete for exciting prizes while making your courses inclusive for all learners!

6-Week Challenge Schedule (Sept. 28–Nov. 8)

Week 1: Images (Sept. 28–Oct. 4 | Submit by Oct. 4) — Add alt text & optimize visual content

Week 2: Documents (Oct. 5–11 | Submit by Oct. 11) — Structure headings & improve document flow

Week 3: Tables (Oct. 12–18 | Submit by Oct. 18) — Format data tables with proper headers

Week 4: Multimedia (Oct. 19–25 | Submit by Oct. 25) — Add captions & transcripts to videos

Week 5: PDFs (Oct. 26–Nov. 1 | Submit by Nov. 1) — Address complex PDF & scanning issues

Week 6: Final Push (Nov. 2–8 | Submit by Nov. 8) — Complete final improvements & celebrate
