Every Child Matters/Orange Shirt Day was honored on Sept. 30. The Amplifying Indigenous Voices Community Circle hosted a gathering in front of GSU at the Indigenous Garden to, in the words of AIV co-chair, "reflect, remember, and recommit ourselves to truth and reconciliation. We pause to honor the Indigenous children who were taken from their families and communities to residential schools, the many who never made it home, and the survivors whose courage continues to inspire us."
