The University of Hartford community mourns the passing of Frank R. Orlando, who served on campus as an operations manager for Aramark.
In this role, Orlando supervised a team of skilled tradespeople, bringing a strong work ethic and a sense of pride to his responsibilities.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Orlando enjoyed woodworking and cooking, and had a lifelong interest in music. He played drums in a band when he was younger and especially valued time spent with family.
Visitation will take place Saturday, Oct. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., in Bristol, Conn.
