Yes, a $500 deposit is required to process your registration. After submitting the registration form, you’ll receive an email from CSS@hartford.edu with a link to pay the deposit. Once you’ve made your payment, reply to the email so your registration can be completed. Your confirmation email will also include a checklist for new students.

Visiting/non-matriculated students: must submit the online form by the published deadline on the Winter Term website.

Current UHart students: may register through self-service using the Winterterm PIN and can register until the first day of classes.
No. All registration must be completed before the first day of class.
Once your registration is processed, your course will appear in Blackboard within 24 hours. Log in with your UHart email username (everything before @hartford.edu) and the last four digits of your student ID as your password.
Course transferability is determined by your home institution. Before registering, check with your registrar or advisor to confirm that the credits will transfer as expected. In most cases, courses must be taken for a letter grade to be eligible for transfer.
Complete the Request to Drop form online. The official drop date is the date you submit the form.
Please note: non-attendance does not constitute a drop or withdrawal. You are responsible for all charges unless a drop form is submitted.
