Undergraduate Tuition, Rates, and Fees

On this page you will find a breakout of the tuition rates for full-time, part-time, and winterterm undergraduate students for 2020–2021 Academic Year.

The following fees are subject to change in accordance with University rules and without notice. For confirmation, please refer contact your respective school or the Bursar Office at 860.768.4205.

International Student Tuition

Tuition for full-time international undergraduate and graduate students is the same as all other students. Undergraduate rates are below. 

If you are a student who has been admitted and/or interested in our International Pathways Program, you will want to explore a separate breakdown of tuition and fees found on our International Pathways Program website.

Full-Time Undergraduate

A full-time undergraduate student is a student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree and carrying between 12–18 credits per semester.

Part-Time Undergraduate

A part-time undergraduate student is

  • a student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree that is taking only 2 courses that total at least 9 and not more than 11.5 credit hours per semester
  • a full-time student registering for 9 to 11.5 credits who is completing their degree requirements during the term in question, provided they have written approval from the dean or dean designee of their college.

All undergraduate courses for all schools and colleges programs are $580 per credit hour unless otherwise specified.

  • Includes Paralegal Studies and BA in University Studies.
  • Bachelor of University Studies (BUS) students pay the per credit rate through 11.99 credit hours, pay the full-time rate for 12–18 credits, and pay overload for courses over 18 credits.
