The Office of the Controller, also referred to as Financial Affairs, manages and oversees the University's financial operations, which include the Budget Office, the Bursar and Student Administrative and Financial Services, Financial Accounting Services, and Payroll. Key functions include the oversight of the university’s operating budget, student and third-party billing and the collection, year-end audit, annual financial statements, and the university payroll. The controller is also responsible for internal controls, university financial policies and procedures, federal and state regulatory compliance and financial reporting on behalf of the university. The Financial Affairs office strives to be a leading supplier of financial decision support information to the University’s academic and administrative units works to meet or exceed the expectations of the clients it serves.
