Winter Storm Advisory

Due to an impactful winter storm expected throughout the region, the University of Hartford will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 25, and Monday, Jan. 26. This includes Harrison Libraries.

In-person Hartt School auditions that were scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, have been rescheduled.

The Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, is canceled. The exhibition at Silpe Gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24.

The Harrison Libraries collections include microform materials (photographic reproductions of a document), both microfilm (rolled film) and microfiche (flat piece of film).

Microform materials are located in cabinets on the lower level of Mortensen Library.

To view the microfilm/microfiche, a reader is available on the lower level of Mortensen Library.

  • Use the microfilm/microfiche reader to save, save and email, or print to any of the Libraries printers.
  • Printouts are free. Read more about printing here.
  • Pages may also be saved to a flash drive, disc, or emailed (but the large file size can present problems for some of the free email services, so save your work in multiple smaller files).
