Commencement 2026
The application deadline for those planning to graduate in May is Friday, Feb. 13.
Online ordering of cap and gown is scheduled to begin in early February.
Information for Graduates
Our annual May Commencement exercises are scheduled for Sunday, May 17, at the PeoplesBank Arena (formerly known as the XL Center) in downtown Hartford. It will celebrate the academic achievements of all who were awarded degrees during the 2025–26 academic year (Sept. 2025, Jan. 2026, May 2026). The Graduate Ceremony (doctoral and master's degrees) will be held at 9 a.m. with the Undergraduate Ceremony (bachelor's and associate degrees) taking place at 2 p.m.
Before you can walk across the stage, you need to make sure you've completed all the necessary steps for graduation.
