Since 1999, the Women's Business Center (WBC) has been specializing in the learning styles and needs that women bring to business. We will help you launch a new business or grow an established one. From business planning and financing to marketing and government contracting, we have the resources you need to succeed!

Services are offered to women and men. All services are free or low-cost; tuition assistance is available to those who qualify.

SBA Resources

In addition to the resources we have onsite, business information and support are available on the SBA's main website, at the SBA's Office of Women's Business Ownership, and at your local district office. The Women's Business Center,  the largest initiative of the Entrepreneurial Center at the University of Hartford, is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the US Small Business Administration.
