I have maintained a clinical practice in addition to my faculty position at University of Hartford. Prior to a full time appointment my clinical practice was at the American School for the Deaf for 17 years. My areas of teaching at the university is for Neuroscience, Neuropathology, and Pediatrics. I maintain clinical practice in the CT Birth to Three Program for the American School for the Deaf agency.
My area of interest is in using equine therapy in my clinical practice. I am a member of the American Hippotherapy Association. In addition, I have been involved raising puppies for Fidelco which provides guide dogs for the blind.
