Yuna Kim is an assistant professor of Visual Communication Design. She is a motion designer, interactive media artist, and educator whose work spans motion graphics, real-time 3D, immersive media, and emerging technologies.

Prior to joining the University of Hartford, Yuna taught courses in motion design, 3D modeling, virtual worlds, and interactive media at the University of Connecticut while completing her MFA in Digital Media & Design. She also brings professional experience in game and interactive technology, contributing to game trailers, promotional media, virtual exhibitions, XR experiences, and immersive installations.

Yuna holds a BFA in Kinetic Imaging from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA in Digital Media & Design from the University of Connecticut. She is excited to join the University of Hartford community and looks forward to working with students and colleagues while helping expand opportunities in motion, interactive, and emerging media design.
