Paula Alderette is an Assistant Professor of Psychology. She teaches Psychological Foundations, Personality, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Health Psychology, as well as special topics courses and independent studies.

"Teaching Hillyer students is an opportunity to have an exchange (small group, open conversation) about them in the context of studying Psychology," she says. "I get to really know them."

Alderette's research interests include:

• Mental health law
• Psychotherapeutic treatment of trauma
