Robert Dryden is a professor of English. He teaches Introduction to Composition, Introduction to Literary Analysis, English Literature, Literature and Psychology.

Dryden's research interests include:

  • Jane Austen studies
  • Eighteenth and nineteenth-century adventure fiction
  • The eighteenth-century novel
