Committed to Community
At its core, HCD is committed to community. Our ongoing and recent partnerships include the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Hartford, and many others. Our events that provide access to what we offer include our Alliance Sharing Day; we also participate in the Greater Hartford Summer Dance. We offer resources to music teachers through ASTA, Music Technology Day and Summer Mini-Teacher Workshops in conjunction with state music associations.

Youth 2 Community (Y2C) Program
Youth to Community (Y2C) is a teen volunteer organization of musicians and dancers at the Hartt Community School. The group participates in monthly service projects to assist the Hartt community as well as the greater Hartford area.
