balloon test launch
When UHart and University of Bridgeport students teamed up to launch a high-altitude balloon during an eclipse in Spain, local media turned out to cover the story. The test launch on the UHart campus was featured on NBC Connecticut, and our students were interviewed on WFSB.
A High Honor

When UHart basketball legend Vin Baker stepped up to receive an honorary degree at our 2026 Commencement, several local TV stations carried the story, including NBC CT and FOX61. UHart's new outdoor athletics and recreation complex will carry Baker's name when it opens in the fall.
