The Career Closet gives students from all majors, schools, and colleges easy access to professional attire so they can dress for success, regardless of size, gender, or status.

Each item can be “rented” at no cost for 14 days, and some can even be purchased for between $3-$8. Venmo accepted.
Shaped and Staffed by Students
The Career Closet is not just a resource, it's also a learning environment.
Aided by the Barney Leadership Counsel, Barney ambassadors assist with closet operations by tracking inventory, completing the check-out process for student customers, and sorting and tagging donations—and are getting real-world, hands-on experience of running a business. Money collected from purchases is used to dry clean certain items, or to purchase other needed clothing for the closet.
