We look forward to welcoming students and families to our Scholarship Competition on Sunday. The event will take place as scheduled. Attendees, please refer to your email for the complete itinerary and additional information.

Due to the upcoming high-impact winter storm, UHart will be closed on Monday, Feb. 23. There will be no in-person classes held on Monday. Please note that when a campus closing prevents an in-person class from meeting at its scheduled time, faculty may opt to conduct classes or provide assignments online. Students should check Blackboard and their email regularly on such days to learn of any alternate arrangements. Online and remote courses are not affected by campus closings and meet as scheduled.

Residential Life

UHart should feel like home. That’s why we offer flexible living arrangements to suit your individual lifestyle and preference. If you just feel like staying in, we got you covered. We have game rooms with pool tables, table tennis, TV lounge areas, and a fire pit set up for you to take a break and enjoy times with friends. If you feel life going out for a meal with friends, there are many choices for dining on-campus. Visit Hawks Nest to watch the game, grab a coffee at Starbucks, visit Commons for a wide variety of food and delicious baked goods from Park River Bakery.

At UHart, you can join more than 100 student clubs and organizations spanning Improv comedy and a Capella to ultimate Frisbee, photography, and robotics. Whatever you are passionate about, we have A club for you.

With two performing arts schools on campus, you can enjoy free concerts, musicals, art shows, and exhibitions. We also have lots of traditions like our midnight breakfast before finals week, spring fling weekend, Hawktober homecoming and parents' weekend, hawks helping day of service, and so much more!
